Peru Trip 2010

The Global Engineering Outreach class had a very successful trip to Peru to implement several projects helping people in developing communities.

About GEO

The Club

Global Engineering Outreach is a club established to improve the quality of life of developing communities through engineering. The club is involved with local projects, activities, and speakers to provide service in the commmunity.

The Class

The GEO Class is a two-semester class where students have the opportunity to research, design, test, produce, and implement a solution for a real world problem in a developing country. Students must be junior and senior level in an engineering major in order to apply for the class.


Current Projects

The purpose of this project is to develop a garden for the people on one of the Uros Islands (Lake Titicaca, Peru).
